Companions Come Free
A complimentary ticket is available for a companion of any disabled card holder. This can be booked through reception.
Accessible Formats
We can provide large print or plain text versions of our programme of regular groups & classes and, as well as any event flyers, upon request.
Hearing Support
A hearing loop is available in the Culbin Theatre. Please switch your hearing aid to the T position.
Captioned Events
We work with local organisations to ensure that as many events as possible are captioned.
Wheelchair Access
There is a ramp from street level to reception, lift access to all floors, and an accessible toilet on each floor.
Signage
Signage throughout the Centre is designed to be clear and appropriate for people with visual impairments.
Visual and Audible Alarm System
The Centre is equipped with a visual and audible alarm system to ensure that all visitors are alerted in the event of an emergency.
Assistance and Guide Dogs
Assistance dogs and guide dogs are welcome throughout the building. Water bowls are available on request
Sensory Considerations
Occasionally performances may include bright lights, flashing effects or loud sounds. Please check event listings for specific details or contact us to discuss any sensory requirements. We can provide advice on quieter areas within the building if you need a break during your visit.
Staff Support
Please ask a member of staff if you need any assistance, we are happy to help with wayfinding, doors or carrying items if required. Please note, if you require additional assistance it would be beneficial to contact in advance of your visit so staff can help answer questions and advise as required.
Emergency Procedures
In the event of an evacuation, there are disabled call points in the fire-protected stairwells, and a member of staff will be available to assist anyone who needs help. All emergency exits are wheelchair accessible.
